Review of Funeral in Berlin (1966) by Michael B — 09 Apr 2008
Of the Palmer trilogy, this may actually be the one which holds up the best. Less stylish than the Ipcress File perhaps, but also less psychedelic and more grounded. Oskar Homolka is clearly having fun as the Communist general Harry must smuggle to the West.
