Review of Fun with Dick and Jane (2005) by Grady S — 30 Dec 2012
Review by Zanele Jiane.
I did not find the movie funny at all, the situations in the story are very serious, so serious that its affecting billions of people, directly and indirectly. People losing their houses, cars, and other valuable assets and sabotaging one another while competing to secure those belongings.
I got the same feeling when I saw Two for the money, but the extent of loss experienced in the movie is way more affecting than that in Two for the money.
As far as possible money and earnings are to be saved not used carelessly to impress our apathetic neighbours and friends, crime gets rampant when people get this desperate, so it's imperative that people pay off all debt as far as possible otherwise they are just inmates waiting to be taken in.
Why is employment the only source of income for many folks living today? especially the ones with aggressive lifestyles. Why can't people open side-line projects that create employment for others, at least not all your expenses will be paid off a single income, but easily split among them.
This movie left me with a gaping hole.
