Review of Fun with Dick and Jane (1977) by Jasmine K — 11 Nov 2011

It's been awhile since Jim Carrey made me really laugh, and unfortunately, it looks like I'll be waiting a little longer. While this movie was entertaining, it felt very "safe" and unspectacular.

I was expecting more hijinks and hilarity but I think the focused too much on the story. They did a good job of humanizing Carrey's character, but they neglected to flesh out any of the other characters.

At a measly 90 minutes, this comedy was ultimately underwhelming.
