Review of Fun Size (2012) by Jon C — 26 Oct 2012
Well they did it.
Victoria Justice has successfully made the jump from teen TV idol to movie stardom.
She plays a girl whose family is so dysfunctional when it comes to her mom and her little brother.
Having only one friend Wren has the experience of a lifetime when going out trick 'r treating.
This is another Halloween-oritented film that makes the holiday so much more chaotic.
Everything from drinking to vandalism to copping feels to cursing to looking for lost siblings; Halloween has never been this much fun.
There were actually quite a number of laughs(these critics are morons) that kept me liking the film even more, although not all of them worked 100%.
I feel as though Chelsea Handler since she's so well-known for her comedic timing that she could have had more funny lines since she's a monumental part of the film but her presence was alright to have.
The little boy playing the Spider-Man costumed Albert is adorable and really steals every scene being a lost trick 'r treater in a big neigborhood where anything can happen on Halloween.
The so-called 'cute-guy' of the film was in the background so much that I really forgot he was in the movie.
Josh Schwartz also makes his debut from television and believe me when I say that his trademark of 'Gossip Girl' does pop up every now and then.
The music, the dramatic moments and even the mature drama that made me go....whoah.
It is true, some people just can't handle Halloween not even the circumstances these characters face.
Trust me, this is the movie to see and watch with your family who are gearing up for the All Hallow's Eve season.
Way to go Victoria :).
