Review of Fun Size (2012) by Andrew L — 31 Mar 2013
This is a good movie. While the main target is young teens, this can be enjoyed by anyone in their late teens through early twenties. The story consists of a lot of hijinks and absurd behavior as it tries to be like a kid version of The Hangover.
It also tries to be clever by placing a few "bad words" to make the viewers feel rebellious when watching it. Josh Schwartz did a good job as the director but I wish he could have done more with it, as I know he is capable of doing better.
The acting was pretty good, considering that this is a kid comedy. Jane Levy was the standout for me but Victoria Justice was good enough for the lead. Definitely worth the rent.
