Review of Fun and Fancy Free (1947) by Leighton T — 03 Oct 2008
I enjoyed it, and while I find both stories decently engaging, I don't think it's a Disney I'd gravitate to after this one viewing. While I find the Bongo story cute, and the colors used very visually attractive, it's just cute.
Mickey and the Beanstalk segement is made funny by the live action of the dolls, but the mixing of that live action and the animation so much during the segment is more distracting than helpful. Still, the animated part is fun and it's great to see Donald, Mickey and Goofy all together.
