Fulltime Killer is the story of two hitmen, O and Tok. O is Asia´s top assasin, Tok is the new kid on the block that is quickly building a reputation and works for cheap. Tok is a fan of action films and he lives like he´s in one. He´s a very disturbed character, very different to O´s, who is dead serious and haunted by what he does. Tok develops a rivalry with O, and it´s like a constant contest of who´s the best assasin.

The action scenes are creative and pretty damn good. It does owe a lot to Leon: The Professional and Point Break, but the good thing about this is that the film talks about these movies briefly, making it seem less like a ripoff. This is a movie where is style is the substance, but it still has a pretty decent story and interesting characters. The movie slows down a little after the first half of the movie, that being its biggest flaw. It had raised a lot of momentum but loses most of it in that segment.

This is a very tired genre, but the directors proved that with a pair of interesting characters, a decent story, and a lot of style, you can still make a very good action movie.
