No. Way. The plot wasn't the greatest and what happened to the characters? Roy did a complete 180! And after everything Ed did to get his brother back, he was just going to leave him there. There is no way he would have done that.
In my opinion, the writers could have done a lot better making the characters stick to how they were in the anime.
