Yes, yet another anime movie. I hadn't seen any of the series before watching it, but now I'm working on getting my hands on all 13 DVDs so that alone shows it's well worth watching. :) Background knowledge isn't TOO necessary, unless you want explanations for weird character features like metal arms and eyepatches.
