Review of Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa (2005) by Scott B — 01 Nov 2009
It wrapped up the anime series in a very satisfying way. It was a sad/happy ending though. I should put in the reasons why I love the movie so much though. The movie has the brothers separated which adds to the drama, Al with amnesia (I guess?), and the new Alfons Heidrich on the other side with Ed as well.
How the humor and drama do not push one over the edge, the characters and their feelings, this movie really makes you feel like you are with Ed and Al simultaneously feeling their emotions exploding next you.
This is definitely a movie that needs to be watched.
