Review of Full Metal Jacket (1987) by Kyle M — 09 Sep 2012
I know this observation has been done to death, but the film truly never recovers from its former half. However, Matthew Modine does keep my attention throughout the film, giving a great performance as Joker.
The Adam Baldwin character is fairly inane, though. Pales in comparison to Kubrick's other war film, "Paths of Glory".
