Review of Full Metal Jacket (1987) by Tony B — 18 Sep 2012

While not my favorite war movie ever, it has the ability to go from comedic to very dark on the head of a dime. While I do not consider any of the fights you see as real gun battles, with the only thing coming close the sniper battle which most of it was Marines just firing wherever and not at the sniper, not all war movies need running battles.
