Review of Full Metal Jacket (1987) by Rene V — 23 Nov 2012
My 2nd favorite War film of all time and my 2nd favorite Kubrick film, only behind A Clockwork Orange. So much imagery in such little time and darkly humerous, this is moviemaking at its best. It's literally 2 movies in one: the first 45 minutes is the basic training on Paris Island and the next 60 minutes is in Vietnam.
