The brutality & senselessness of war is brilliantly beautiful shown thru the eyes of the masterful Kubrick. This film is chock full of memorable & colorful obscenities which adds levity to the slow dehumanization of boys becoming marines.
But war is not a game, as these boys tragically discover. War is Hell indeed.
