Review of Full Metal Jacket (1987) by Ken C — 04 Jul 2015
Stanley Kubrick dark humour and coherent storytelling, brilliantly depicted the "war is hell" genre that felt more like a documentary than a fictional-style film. Full Metal Jacket is about a group of soldiers who turn into killers in marine training, and are then sent off to the Vietnam War.
Though it is predictable, the message is compelling, intense and uneasy to watch.
