Review of Full Metal Jacket (1987) by Yasemin Y — 08 Jun 2017
This one is a hard watch at times, being almost completely split in half between a climactic scene during basic training and the actual time spent in country in the last half of the film, but holy shit does it pay off in a lot of ways, from great quotable lines down to wince-inducing moments of the horrors of war.
Recommended.
