Absolutely fantastic, the first hour is so memorable with great acting and fantastic lines. It shows what training in the army really can be like.The second half is still great the but first half is unforgettable.

This really got you attached to the characters, making you care for them and really seeing what they went through for this war and training. Full Metal Jacket has so many memorable scenes and lines that it's one of the best war movies i've ever seen.

Comparing it to others I think it was a much better movie than Platoon. This was just a lot more entertaining and more memorable. It flies by as well and you just wish it had so much more. It's a perfect war movie on the Vietnam war, great story, characters and so many memorable lines.

I just wished it was a little bit longer but it's still amazing.
