Review of Full Metal Jacket (1987) by Jesus C — 22 Aug 2013
Well must admit I was wrong before when I said it wasnt a great film because this is a brilliant film that shows Marines development from grunt level through to joining the war in Vietnam. Its very edgy and probably the most accurate movie based on that war.
Not as good as some of Kubrick's other work but then again he is a master of his trade and has many memorable films and this is another.
