Review of Full Frontal (2002) by Andy B — 07 Jun 2007
I avoided seeing this movie for quite a while because of this massive dislike that everyone seems to have for it. I found it whole heartedly entertaining, works on plains of reality kinda like the dreamers, but far more clever and entertaining. I think if you can put your reservations at the door and take it for what it is you might enjoy it. This film reminded me a lot of the short story 'The End of the Mechanical Age' by Donald Barthelme. Anyway if you can get over your reservations on handheld digital camera use, and get into the spirit of the film I think you could get something out of it.
This in my opinion is one of the most consistantly misunderstood and underated films that I've ever come across.
