Review of Full Frontal (2002) by Jason Y — 09 May 2004
(VHS)(Fourth Viewing, 8 Soderbergh films seen).
A day in the life of a group of men and women in Hollywood, in the hours leading up to a friend's birthday party..
This is the only Soderbergh film I have seen that I don't like. Even Erin Brockovich has likable moments. I first saw Full Frontal on the big screen and was very bored. I thought that maybe it would convert better to the smaller screen. Whenever I see another Soderbergh film, I get into his visual style. Then afterwards, I go back to this film to see if I would ever like it. But that doesn't seem to be happening any time soon.
Instead you might like...
- Sex, Lies and Videotape (Steven Soderbergh, 1989) - A sexually repressed woman's husband is having an affair with her sister. The arrival of a visitor with a rather unusual fetish changes everything.
