Review of Fugitive Pieces (2008) by Sargunan I — 25 Oct 2008
The film probably wouldn't be as good if it were not for the terrific performance from Rade Serbedzija. I really like Stephen Dillane and think he does decent work here, but his puppy dog face throughout most of the movie just seemed inappropriate at times.
I also thought his arc with Rosamund Pike's character was not nearly fleshed out enough, but I honestly have no idea if this was based on a true story or not (if it was, obviously I take that comment back).
Good movie, but not great.
