Review of Fubar (2002) by David B — 29 Dec 2007
It's funny, probably funnier for those who identify with this culture irregardless of having participated in it. I've had a couple fubar moments in highschool, but that was nearly 15 years ago and I left that culture behind.
For those who didn't this is a great film to have a laugh at oneself by laughing at others. Fortunately Dowse followed this up with "It's All Gone Pete Tong" which is a better made film that provides the same outlet for those who got bored with guitars and opted for turntables instead - even though the latter culture in its mainstream elements can be just as retarded.
Both films speak volumes about Humanity in the "civilized" Western world.
