Surely one of the best, if not the best movie of 2013.
Its not a great movie because of any visual effects. Nor is it because it has good cinematography or lighting.
Its an amazing movie because unlike many other movies we see nowadays, this movie has SOUL!
As not an epic story but follows the story of Oscar Grant, a happy yet troubled person fighting through his problems in life at age 22. You truly understand the character, feel for him and are genuinely curious to see what happens to him.
Fruitvale Station is a beautifully directed biopic by Ryan Coogler with lead actor as Michael B Jordan who does an incredible job of portraying the character of Oscar Grant.
In my honest opinion, they both deserve more awards for their amazing work in Fruitvale Station.
