If you know anything about this true story, then you know how it ends, but that didn't stop for holding out hope that this time it ends happily. Unfortunately, this type of thing happens in our country all too often.
Michael B Jordan brings the flawed Oscar to life and shows how much he had to live for. Melonie Diaz is also very good. However, Octavia Soencer was the biggest stand out to me. I liked her in The Help, but she's better in this.
She gave me chills.. This movie will break your heart.
