I may revisit this rating at a layer stage, but for now, Fruitvale is going to be hard to top as one of my favorite movies of 2014. Can't fully explain how great Michael B Jordan is here. Where was his Oscar nomination, Academy? Just a powerful and emotional journey, start to finish.
