If I had to some Fruitvale Station up in one simply word, it would be; powerful. It's an intense, emotionally heavy, depressing, powerful that gives a strong message of the power of if bad things should happen to good people.

While Oscar Grant did have some problems in his life, he was a great guy and what happened to him was just downright cruel. What really makes this movie so great, it the acting. Michael B. Jordan has pronounced himself a true, real actor by his performance in this film.

This will forever be known as the movie that made his career and it's a great one to be your career starter. His performance is amazing in this. He perfectly portrays a loving father, husband and friend who never fully lived his life due to his cruel and unjust end.

What happened to his character in real life just shows how unjust our society is and how cruel people can be, and Michael B. Jordan perfectly portrays Oscar Grant. He was heavily snubbed for the Best Actor Oscar in this and it completely baffled me how he wasn't even considered for a nomination.

He hasn't been getting the awards recognition that his performance deserves and it's a shame to see that, because it's great. I will be anxiously waiting to see what else he can do. Another fantastic performance is by the wonderful Octavia Spencer.

I knew she was an incredible actress and she's no different in this film, either. He portrays the loving mother of Oscar and she was perfectly casted in her role. Nobody could have played her better, because nobody could have fit her role so better than her.

She was also snubbed for the Oscar for her performance in this, as well. She gave an incredible performance and nobody could have played her better than she did. Another good performance was from Melonie Diaz, who played Oscar's wife.

She was always emotionally and physically invested in her role throughout the entire film, and her performance was especially good. I had originally expected her to be kind of annoying, but she was the complete opposite of that.

She gave an incredible performance in this and it will be nice to see what she can do next. The directing by Ryan Coogler is fantastic, as well. This is his directorial debut, and what an incredible debut to have under your belt.

I can tell that he is going to be a talent to watch in the future because he's very, very talented and if this is just his debut, I can't imagine what else he'll be able to do next. He had a way of capturing shots of raw intensity and emotion so well you could like feel it in the atmosphere of the film, and it was incredible.

He could film any scene from a crowded train, house to a grocery store perfectly well and with such a natural talent. I can't wait to see what Coogler will be doing next because I'm sure it will be incredible based upon this.

The script, which is also by Ryan Coogler, is emotionally raw and full of pure heart wrenching scenes and dialogue. The script is unbelievably sad and pulls at the heart strings so much due to it's emotionally heavy dialogue and gut wrenching events that unfold in the film.

The dialogue between characters is so inventive and original, you can't help but see the originality and creativity that was out into making this film so sad and the script is one of the major parts of why the film is so well done.

A beautifully written, emotionally raw, original, and powerful script that is so great. Fruitvale Station is a beautifully acted, masterfully directed, and sharply written film and engaging story line that perfectly portrays the unjust way of what can happen to someone on any given day.

Oscar Grant didn't deserve to die at the hands of one foolish cop and this film perfectly celebrates his beautiful life of being a father, son, and lover. Highly recommended.
