Review of Fruitvale Station (2013) by Scott C — 08 Aug 2014
This was really well acted. However, while the filmmakers their best to paint the protagonist in as positive a light as possible, I wanted to know more about the conditions surrounding his previous run-ins with the law.
This was just sort of glossed over. I have much less sympathy for ex-criminals and am always suspicious when they are shot and everyone cries justice for them. I would like to know more about the real Oscar and not the glamorised movie version portrayed by Michael B.
