I thought leo was quite deserving of the oscar nod. this film is a real nail biter and despite it's political points, it's really a movie about motherhood, and carries a great deal of human interest.
the relationship between the two women is compelling - and the cultural blending that curs when they both realize whats most important to them sparks a lot of thought.
