Review of Frozen River (2008) by Ryan B — 26 May 2009
What I liked about this movie is that you get a very real feeling of these two women struggle for a better life. I also enjoy a movie that can show the dark sides of life without preaching moral righteousness.
In that sense, this film is very realistic in showing what a single mother is willing to do to provide for her kids, and how far that kind of love can take us.
