Review of Frozen River (1929) by Willis M — 04 Apr 2009
Great performance by Melissa Leo as a desperate Mother doing absolutely anything she can to keep her family together. The movie definitely is a different kind of story ... with a deep, depressing and almost tragic tone from the start, but managed to not go over the edge.
I'd recommend it, if you like serious stories.
