Review of Frozen (2013) by David B — 10 Jan 2015
The "Let it go" song is the only song I found catchy and the rest doesn't come near. Aside from a few funny moments and adorable characters, for me it doesn't beat Tangled. What is wonderful about the film is the visuals, they are simply amazing and beautiful to look at.
The snow and ice looked so real and at times you forget the visuals are CGI. The voice acting was good and the humour was spot on but at the end of the day, this film is for kids and can understand why they love it.
The plot was simple but felt it was missing some dark moments that Disney have done in the past, it was missing a bad guy and the build up to the end was a little dull and boring. Again, this is really for the kids.
..but the visuals are the best I've ever seen and brilliant how they created the snow and beautiful backgrounds. Plot wise, Disney have done better.
