Review of Frozen (2013) by Nathan R — 08 Feb 2015

Good to see Disney finally giving a more modern sensibility to their animated features. While they still can't seem to get away from the need to have a princess starring the show, at least they've realized that she does not need a prince to save her, and produced something that passes the Bechtel test.

Definitely a better message for the young viewers. Memorable songs and animation that has the feel of the traditional hand drawn work yet adds the dynamic and three dimensionality of computer animation is impressive.

It may not quite match the stories, heart, and adult appeal of Pixar, but it's a worthy outing.
