Review of Frozen (2013) by Andrew S — 09 Jul 2015
I must confess, I am losing my touch: as I was unaware FROZEN is the new (and still current) champion amongst all animated films as the highest grossing animated film (unadjusted for inflation, obviously) of all-time--since its 2013 release.
That said, I am going on record to predict this weekend's new pole-position winner after a very tight neck-to-neck finish will be Pixar's latest--INSIDE OUT--having leapfrogged over Spielberg's delightful dinosaurs in ITS third weekend (something that is u precedents and rarely happens) might just have something to say about that come Labour Day Weekend final summer tallies. It seems to have serious legs having knocked JURASSIC WORLD out of the top spot after its historic 3-peat consecutive weekends of pace-setting velociraptilian run on the North American (and worldwide) box office.
Weighing-In-- this is No Small Feat/Feet (pun intended!) either considering that the third JURASSIC PARK sequel is now unequivocally (once again unadjusted for inflation) the new box-office champion of all-time with every record just about conquered except biggest film domestic and worldwide and after this week it seems only AVENGERS (2013) and James Cameron's AVATAR are the only tent poles left to topple for the Dino destroyers.
Ooooh... the suspense!!
Critics Pick: Anything with Amy Poehler lending her voice automatically gets elevated to auteur status as far as I'm concerned. Love her self-deprecating awesomeness! And Love Her!
