Review of Frozen (2013) by Catherine R — 06 Aug 2016
The only thing that really impressed me about this film was its Publicist. Whoever was in charged of advertising/marketing/selling this movie did a fantastic job. The fact that they were able to convince SO many people to LOVE it after its release amazes me.
I mean, I was so excited to see it. The trailers told me the music would be akin to Lion King. I could not wait. I was offended for Lion King. Embarrassed for women and men. I feel like the message of the film was to make it look like men weren't important to women, but all it succeeded in doing was making women look either crazy or stupid while men were portrayed as either villains or stupid.
The snowman and the elk were cute. The music was painful, there was ONE semi-mediocre song. DO NOT LIE TO PEOPLE USING LION KING.
