Review of Frozen (2013) by Ayrton C — 15 Dec 2017
I don't find this movie bad but I just can't relate to all the praise it's getting. The movie is about 2 princesses, one was born with ice magic and can't control it, the other dreams of true love.
Elsa must find a way to control her powers and in the end they find out love is the answer. The end. My first problem with the movie was I didn't find it very entertaining at first viewing. There wasn't anything that was really spectacular or special about the film.
On the plus side there were some creative elements in the story such as Elsa's struggle with her powers but a large portion of the film leading up to the climax was uninspiring, boring and too kiddie.
Now, another problem with the film is the plot twist which seemed forced. The writers just seemed to want to show that they don't support marrying someone you just met. Overall the story is far from perfect but it makes up with some creativity and good songs.
It's a good movie but I don't consider it to be one of Disney's best.
