Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Ankur B — 23 Feb 2010
This is an excellent film based off of the play of the same title. Which is inspired by the very well known interview sessions between Richard Nixon and David Frost, which aired in the late 70s. I wasn't even close to being alive, so I sought out and watched the actual interviews before viewing the movie.
I haven't seen the play either, so I don't know about that in between step, but the movie stays very true to the actual interviews. The performances in this movie are nearly perfect from every actor.
I would definitely recommend this.
