Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Brian R — 01 Mar 2010
A dramatic retelling of the post-Watergate television interviews between British talk-show host David Frost and former president Richard Nixon.
Basically this is a solid film with solid performances, great directing, great editing, and an intriguing story between two men ready to box each others brains out in a confessional way. The Frost/Nixon interview would be one of the most successful interviews of the 20th Century. I got a chance to watch the 1977 interviews on PBS never forgetting when Nixon quoted that heart breaking line "I have let the American people down and I have to carry that burden for the rest of my life...".
