Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by K G — 14 May 2010
Right, so this has been in my "to watch" stack for the longest time. finally sat down to see it the other night, and my little effort was definitely not wasted. I suppose part of the reason why it took me so long was because I had no idea about the manner in which the plot would play out.
that didn't really need to be a worry of mine, though, because it's done quite wonderfully. the cinematography was perfect: the manner in which certain shots were captured added a degree of emotion lost by characters, such as nixon, that are so reserved just by their nature.
the movie did start to wear me down a little in the middle, but that's easily forgiven. there's a reason for the hype with this film and i'm not at all disappointed.
