Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Patrick E — 13 Jun 2010
Historically interesting film and a stellar performance from Frank Langella as Richard Nixon but ultimately it's too long and boredom sets in for the second act. The film makers made a choice not to delve into the Watergate Scandal too much and so we are presented with very few facts about the scandal itself, it's almost as if they assumed anyone who views the film will already have a good knowledge of the scandal. If you don't, like I don't, then you will find many parts of the film boring.
Worth going to see for Langella's performance but I was very under whelmed.
