Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Shaun S — 10 Jul 2010
Was intrigued into watching this telling of events that happened before I was born, a scandal I don't really know the details of and the interviews by a man I most commonly relate to "Through the Keyhole" by the extraordinary talents of Michael Sheen.
Had watched "The Damned United" and Was completely convinced by his portrayal of Clough, and have been again in this.
Despite the subject matter, the film bubbles with tense moments and is incredibly thought provoking. As for the detail put into recreating the late 70's environments, the scene at Heathrow Airport is just one faultless example.
Might now go and look into some modern American history, but please make sure you find time for this film.
