Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Bill T — 27 Nov 2010
Very well put together (well, ok, the play came first, as William Shakespeare said (I think, to some degree) film about the making of the landmark interviews. Michael Sheen is spot on as Frost, and Frank Langella, while good, for some odd reason, didn't quite transfix me as Richard Nixon.
They are placed with handlers, writers and other various wanna-bes in trying to get the truth out. Fun watching a stalwart like Nixon totally talk his way around Frost when he has a chance, and Frost coming back with a knockout blow.
Very entertaining.
