Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Brandon V — 02 Dec 2010
Impeccable performances, an intriguing, excellently paced script, perfect directing, and heartbreaking emotional resonance, it's all here. Frost/Nixon is one of Ron Howard's finest films, in which he performs one of the best balancing acts ever in film- that straight up fusion of fact-based political character study of sorts and quiet drama worthy of complete silence from the audience.
An absolute masterpiece.
