Review of Frost/Nixon (2008) by Mikael H — 11 Apr 2012
This is definitely worth seeing. Frank Langella and Michael Sheen are both great, and it features another overlooked performance by Sam Rockwell to add to the slew of other great films he's been in and hasn't been recognized for.
It's well-directed, and I like it's documentary type of style, and the intensity of the situations. It's certainly a story worth telling, and I appreciate Ron Howard taking time to delve into the psychology of both Frost and Nixon, though I'm a little weary about things like that as famous figures such as these are so often misinterpreted or characterized by an inescapable ethos that pervades all impartial views of them.
Either way, this is a good film.
