Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Felix G — 21 May 2008
Depending on your perspective, this is either a clever homage or blatant ripoff of "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre." Nevertheless, it delivered in what it set out to do and failed mainly when it tried to be something else (namely, a political allegory).
Gross stuff, to be sure, but it has some good suspense and an irresistably weird story. A cut above the "Saw" movies (no pun intended).
