More substance than the American torture porn that has clearly influenced/inspired it, but still kind of a mess. Yes, it's also influenced heavily by the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but the hyperreal gore and uber stylized lighting and cinematography are more indicative of Hostel and its ilk.
