Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Simon P — 08 Oct 2008
Set in a rioting France, where the presidential elections are down to a face-off between a conservative and an extreme right-wing candidate, this kicks off like La Haine, adds a pinch of Hostel then goes rather Texas Chainsaw Massacre mostly with the same wonderful sense of twistedly sick fun that's crammed into Rob Zombie's House of a 1000 Corpses.
Far too American in style and delivery, than I had hoped, for a French film. Not an original piece but it is well made, fast paced, has good [but not enough] gore and you simply cannot get anything more entertaining than a family of Neo-Nazi cannibals!
