There are no good guys in the film. There are only bad characters and badder characters. The gritty, ugly, horrific elements of this film are pulled off so flawlessly that you can't help but enjoy it.
It's suspenseful, it's shocking, it's remarkably well made, and it's one of the most vicious and violent films of the 2000s. If you like Horror movies, you'll like this one.
