Review of Frontier(s) (2007) by Sebastien H — 26 Jan 2010
Europe is definetly the place to look if after convincing modern horrormovies. This movie does what american horror has failed to do for years. This practically is european Texas Chainsaw Massacre and feels no shame in comparison .
.. specially with the added nazitwist. Violence was dark and brutal with plenty of gore. Movie worked very well all the way to the end. At times some scenes and events reminded of another eurotorturemovie 'Martyrs' but this is a bit more mainstream and also more entertaining (though slightly less shocking).
So if redneck-nazi-cannibal-survival-torture-horror is your thing, don't miss this quality film.
