Review of From Within (2008) by Jeff R — 23 Mar 2009
Afterdark Horror Fest.
Movie 3 of 8.
From Within is fairly better then the previous film The Broken, the acting is decent it's always the characters that make the film. I thought the opening scene was the freakiest thing I have ever seen. From Within is about a town called Grovetown it's a religious town but for 18 year old Lindsay the troubles are just beginning in this quiet little town as people are mysteriously dying not by a killer, not by a creature, but by sucide. The townspeople think that the outcast Aidan has something to do with it, so Lindsay and Aidan have to figure out how to stop this madness of sucides before they are the next victims. Adam Goldberg who I recognize from Dazed and Confused pretty much his character was the best But *SPOILER ALERT* we never know if he dies. A wonderfully made horror flick that's lots of fun.
4/5.
