For a low-budget horror movie, this film holds up well enough. The explanation behind the town's curse is a little weak and a few of the characters somehow feel familiar, as if they were borrowed from another movie.

It does pack some intense moments that help to compensate for its many shortcomings. I would have liked to have witnessed the rest of the townspeople's demises during the main part of the movie, rather than seeing stills of them during the credits.
